Mary-Louise Parker
Mary-Louise Parker was born August 2nd on the 2nd of August, 1964. She is an American actress. After her Broadway debut as Rita in Craig Lucas's Prelude to a Kiss in 1990 (for which she received a Tony Award nomination), Parker gained notoriety for film roles in Grand Canyon (1991), Fried Green Tomatoes (1991), The Client (1994), Bullets over Broadway (1994), A Place for Annie (1994), Boys on the Side (1995), The Portrait of a Lady (1996) as well as The Maker (1997). Parker received the 2001 Tony Award as Best Actress in an independent film for her performance in David Auburn's Proof of Catherine Llewellyn. In the NBC television series The West Wing she starred again as Amy Gardner, and was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Sustained actress in the Drama Series.
